Need Support?

You may be feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted or like you’ve been carrying too much for too long.

Perhaps your child is struggling with anxiety, school stress, emotional outbursts, shutdown or masking deeper feelings beneath humour, avoidance or behaviour.

I offer one-on-one counselling and psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults in-person in Torquay and online.

Together, we create a compassionate and grounded space to slow down, explore what may be happening beneath the surface, and support greater emotional wellbeing, understanding and connection.

Compassionate Counselling
& Psychotherapy

for those seeking support, healing and deeper self-understanding.

You are more than a diagnosis, behaviour, wound or survival pattern.

This is a compassionate and non-pathologising space to explore what may sit beneath the overwhelm, pain, disconnection, outbursts or protective layers.

MY APPROACH

I meet you exactly where you are and walk alongside you in a way that feels safe, compassionate and without judgement.

My approach is trauma-informed and non-pathologising. Rather than focusing only on symptoms or what is “wrong,” we take time to understand your unique experience, listening to emotions, behaviours, stress responses and life challenges with care and curiosity.

I support adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, emotional overwhelm, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, self-worth struggles, emotional exhaustion and major life transitions.

I also work with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, school stress, emotional outbursts, shutdown, friendship difficulties, behavioural challenges, low self-esteem and difficulty expressing or regulating emotions.

Sessions are grounded in relational psychotherapy and draw from approaches including Process-Oriented Psychology, parts-based work, somatic (body-based) awareness, and creative approaches that support emotional expression, reflection and self-understanding.

I also have experience supporting more complex and sensitive experiences including trauma, self-harm, phobias, eating disorders, addiction, and the impact of difficult or unsafe environments.

This way of working supports greater emotional wellbeing, healthier relationships, improved coping, and a stronger, more connected sense of self.

What Clients are Saying:

Ruth.S - NSW

"I often read Testimonials and go, “Oh yeah, really?”However, what came up in my session with Nicole was totally unexpected:Nicole’s acute observations of my words and body enabled her to gently and skilfully unearth an issue that I had long buried. The process she led me in uncovered trauma that I had considered insignificant and allowed me to release it in a very safe and powerfully visceral way.I now feel clear and settled, with more flow in my body, and a deep sense of assuredness that “I’m Ok”, coming from my heart, rather than my head. I have the knowing that I can not only feel and be authentic in myself but am able to act with respectful authenticity in my interactions with others, and especially, in having clear personal boundaries. I truly do feel a sense of ongoing freedom after my session with Nicole. Deepest Gratitude."
