ABOUT

Holistic Counsellor & Psychotherapist

My work is grounded in compassion, curiosity and the understanding that emotional and behavioural struggles can arise through many different experiences, including overwhelm, stress, trauma, relationships, neurodivergence, life circumstances, and the protective ways we learn to cope and adapt.

Alongside private practice, I also work within school wellbeing, supporting young people and families through emotional, behavioural and relational challenges. This work continues to deepen my understanding of emotional regulation, shame, attachment, nervous system responses, and the importance of feeling safely seen and understood.

My path into psychotherapy was shaped not only through formal study, but through my own lived experiences of rupture, loss, personal transformation and periods of deep questioning. These experiences taught me that even our most difficult seasons can hold the possibility for greater understanding, healing and connection.

As a holistic psychotherapist, I integrate approaches including Process-Oriented Psychology, somatic (body-based) awareness, parts-based work, trauma-informed care, and reflective and creative approaches that support emotional expression and self-understanding.

At the heart of my work is the understanding that people are not broken. Together we create a grounded and compassionate space to gently explore what may sit beneath overwhelm, emotional pain, shutdown, protective patterns or disconnection, supporting greater awareness, emotional wellbeing and connection to self.

Based in Torquay, Victoria, I offer in-person sessions along the Surf Coast as well as online support across Australia.

In a world that often disconnects us from ourselves, this work is an invitation to return to what has been silenced, overwhelmed or forgotten beneath the noise of survival.

Together we slow down and listen beneath the surface with compassion, curiosity and care, supporting a deeper connection with yourself beyond the overwhelm, emotional pain or protective ways of coping that may have shaped your experience.

More about how I work...

My path into psychotherapy was shaped not only through formal study, but through my own lived experiences of loss, rupture, deep questioning and personal transformation.

At times, these experiences felt disorienting and difficult to hold. Yet over time they led me toward a deeper exploration of healing, trauma and the human psyche, teaching me that even our most difficult seasons can hold the possibility for meaning, connection and growth.

I completed a Master’s in Holistic Psychotherapy through the Metavision Institute, with a focus on Process-Oriented Psychology developed by Arnold Mindell, alongside other relational and trauma-informed approaches to healing.

My research explored how encounters with distress and shadow may hold paradoxical potential for awareness and transformation when approached consciously and with care.

Alongside formal study, I have been influenced by the work of David Bedrick, Paul Levy, Robert Falconer and Carl Jung, whose approaches to trauma, shame, shadow and the unconscious have profoundly shaped my understanding of the human experience.

Meditation and contemplative practices have also supported me throughout my life, grounding me in presence, reflection and a deeper awareness of the inner dimensions of being human.

These experiences and teachings weave together within my practice. Together we slow down and listen beneath the surface, exploring what may sit beneath distress, disconnection or the patterns formed through survival.

I offer a grounded, compassionate and non-pathologising space where people are not reduced simply to symptoms, but met with respect for the complexity of their lived experience.

I do not stand apart as someone who has “arrived,” but continue to walk this path of learning and discovery myself. What I offer is presence, honesty, and a willingness to gently explore what may be waiting to emerge from beneath the noise of survival.

Based in Torquay, Victoria, I offer in-person sessions along the Surf Coast and Geelong, as well as online support across Australia.
